For over 60 fast moving years, an Alaskan pioneer family and company have played an integral part in the development of the 49th state. Founded by former Alaska Governor Walter J. Hickel and currently guided by Walter J. Hickel, Jr., the company has provided Alaskans and visitors with hotels in which to stay, housing in which to live and centers in which they can shop for every convenience of modern life.
